How to Bind a Book in Leather

Leather is one of the oldest known book covers.
The library is filled with big, old books with Yellow Pages and worn edges.
Learning how to bind a book in leather is not as difficult as it seems.
The pride of crafting a book by hand is worth the effort. Leather-
Bound books are often used as journals or personal gifts and can be used in any document.
Place the book on the leather skin and wrap the cover tightly.
It should be something big enough to be completely wrapped on the cover, spine and back cover of the book.
The top and bottom edges and the side of the cover must be four times the thickness of the book board (Actual book).
If the book board is 1/4-

Mark the outline of the book cover, back cover and spine with a pen on the leather skin.
Measure four times the width of the book board around with a ruler.
